The Supermarine Spitfire was the British Royal Air Force's premiere fighter
during most of WWII and, with the Hawker Hurricane, formed the backbone of
defense against the German Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain. The Mk II
Spitfire differed little externally from the Mk Ia but featured a 1175HP Rolls
-Royce Merlin XII engine upgraded from 1050HP in the Mk 1a. This gave the
Mark II a top speed of 360mph at 19,500ft and a service ceiling of 36,500ft.

MARKING
OPTIONS: Includes Invisa-Clear decals for two aircraft. Invisa-Clear decals
are printed by a special process which minimises the amount of
clear film around the coloured part of the decal. They are also
very thin and respond to setting solutions.
