Weighing in at just 7.5 ounces ready-to-fly, the J3 is incredibly light. With regular take offs from the floor of our local gymnasium, we found the rate of climb to be excellent as we would climb just below the 20-foot ceiling in a matter of seconds. Cruising speed is estimated to be in the 5 to 8 mph range. What is most incredible, though, is the achievement of flight times up to13 minutes on a 270mAh battery pack. The J3 is a fairly responsive flyer, a necessity for maneuvering in tight indoor locations, and has no bad slow speed or stalling habits. Due to its ultra-light weight, the J3 should be flown in totally calm conditions, whether you're indoors or outdoors.
